I think my projector's dying

My epson projector’s bulb is dimming after a few years of weekend movie nights. I’m debating whether to just replace the bulb or upgrade to a newer model with better resolution. Has anyone upgraded instead of replacing?? was it worth it?

Honestly, a dimming bulb after a few years is pretty normal. Epson lamps usually last 3,000-5,000 hours depending on mode. If you’re happy with the brightness and resolution otherwise, a lamp swap is the cheapest fix. Upgrading only feels “worth it” if you’re craving 4K or better HDR.
