Are laser projectors better?

Hi all, I’m trying to use less energy with my tech. I’ve been looking at laser projectors and wondering, do they really save power compared to lamp ones or is that just a sales trick? Has anyone tracked their energy use?

I switched to a laser projector last year after using a lamp one for a long time. It uses about the same power at first, but runs cooler and doesn’t need new bulbs often. My room stays cooler and I don’t have to change lamps anymore. If you want to save energy and do less maintenance, laser is a good choice!
