What should I look for if I want to upgrade?

For me, brightness made the biggest jump. Going from 1,500 to 2,500 lumens made daytime viewing way easier. I’ve had good luck with Epson if you want a reliable all‑rounder.

Smart features surprised me. Like having built‑in apps means I barely touch my streaming box now. If you want that “plug in and go” vibe, Hisense and LG do it well.

I upgraded mainly for brightness and it was totally worth it. A brighter projector handles ambient light way better
