Video lag with Roku

I hooked up my Roku to my projector, but the video lags behind the audio. I thought it would be plug‑and‑play, but syncing is tricky. Has anyone else run into this?

Projectors take longer to process video than TVs, so the audio gets ahead. Most Rokus have an A/V sync adjustment in Settings → Audio. A quick tweak usually brings everything back in line.
