Tips on basement setups

I’m trying to build a home theater in my Chicago basement. The space is perfect, but I keep running into issues with humidity and condensation affecting the projector lens. Anyone else dealt with basement setups? appreciate any suggestions!

Basements trap moisture, and projectors warm up fast, so condensation forms instantly. A dehumidifier or even better airflow in the room usually fixes it.

Yep, that’s a common basement battle. Projector lenses fog when the room is cooler and more humid than the projector itself. Letting the projector warm up a few minutes and yes, @Alan's right, running a dehumidifier helps a ton.
