the latest model to the Epson PowerLite 2250U

Our office has been using the Epson PowerLite 2250U projectors since 2017, and we've been really happy with them. We're looking to buy a few more, but I noticed that the 2250U model came out back then.

I know Epson usually refreshes its projector lines every few years, so I'm wondering if there's a direct successor or a modern equivalent I should be looking at.
Does anyone know if there's a newer model for this that I should consider? I'd love to get a recommendation on a current model that has similar features and performance.

We used the 2250U in our training rooms too and it worked really well. When we needed new ones last year, we found the Epson PowerLite L530U was a good match. It has the same clear picture, similar brightness, and uses a laser instead of a lamp, so it lasts longer. A great choice if you want something newer that still feels familiar.

Wow, that's like a blast from the past! The PowerLite 2250U was a great projector, but you're right that it's overdue for an upgrade.
Epson hasn't done a direct, lamp-based successor, but instead, they have shifted high-lumen business projectors to the PowerLite L-Series, which uses a laser light source.
I agree with @jarvis1988, you should look at something like the PowerLite L530U or similar current L-Series models.
They offer the same core features you're looking for like the WUXGA resolution and high brightness, and you also get the massive advantage of laser technology!

if you guys like that model so much, you should check out the current equivalent in the Epson PowerLite 2000 series. That family usually keeps the same great features you're used to (high brightness, WUXGA resolution).

The most direct modern successor is likely the Epson PowerLite 2255U or the 2300U series. I'd specifically check out the PowerLite 2355F if you want to stick with that high lumen count and get modern features like built in wireless networking.
