Projectors and pets

Hi all, I’ve got an Epson projector now but it’s on its last legs. I want something cheap that can throw about 120" from 12 ft away. The tricky part is my dog keeps bumping into the stand, so I’m considering ceiling mounting. Anyone here deal with pets and projectors? Looking for ideas under $500. Appreciate and recs!!!

Great question. Pets and projectors are a classic combo! Ceiling mounting is definitely the way to keep curious noses and tails out of the picture. Under $500, you’ll find solid options from BenQ or Optoma that can handle a 120" throw.
