Projector advice needed

Hi everyone! I’m new to projectors and trying to build a fun movie space for my family. The room stays dark, and I’m thinking of a 120" screen. I’ve heard good things about NexiGo Aurora Pro MK2, but I’m open to other options under $1000. What should I keep in mind?

Welcome! A dark room is perfect for movie nights. A 120" screen will look awesome, just make sure the projector is bright enough. Will you mostly watch at night or sometimes during the day?

And what about sound? Are you planning to add speakers, or stick with the built‑in ones? Good audio makes the fun even bigger!
