My brother just gave me his old Epson 8350 projector and I hooked it up to my Xbox. I knew it didn't have built-in speakers, but I'm surprised there's no headphone jack or audio output either. Does that mean I need to route audio another way? What's the best setup here to get sound? I run everything through a receiver or what?

Yeah, you'll need to route the Xbox audio through a receiver or soundbar directly. The 8350 is video-only, so let it handle the picture and let your audio gear do the rest.

Yep, the Epson 8350 is video only, so you'll need to route audio separately through a receiver or soundbar, its the easiest way, connect the Xbox audio output directly to your sound system, and use the projector for picture only.

Yh, I agree with all being said, then let the projector handle just the picture, no headphone jack on that one

Exactly right, the Epson 8350 is strictly video-only, no audio pass through or headphone jack. Best setup is to route your Xbox's audio directly to a receiver, soundbar, or powered speakers. That way, the projector handles just the image, and your sound system takes care of everything else. Clean signal, no fuss.
