My projector sounds like it’s ready to take off

My living‑room projector has started revving up like a tiny jet engine during longer movies. I cleaned the vents, but the fan noise keeps creeping up once it gets warm. Anyone found a good cooling pad or airflow trick that actually helps? Got an Epson btw

That “tiny jet engine” mode is usually the projector trying to dump heat fast. Even after vent cleaning, dust inside the heat sink can cause warmer temps. A cooling pad helps only if the intake is on the bottom, otherwise, better airflow around the sides does more.
