Looking for DIY ideas to move my ceiling projector to a stand

I'm about to move into a converted church and my projector setup is giving me a headache. My current setup is a 100" screen mounted to the ceiling, but the new place has super high ceilings with weird shapes that make ceiling or wall mounting pretty much impossible. I started looking around for tripod stands or some kind of support I could use with my existing screen, but all I see are options that come with their own built-in projectors. Has anyone here had to deal with this kind of situation? I'm open to DIY fixes too... maybe something with a heavy-duty stand, a cabinet build, or even a portable frame. Just trying to figure out a way to keep using the screen I already own without scrapping everything and starting from scratch.

Since you have to deal with odd ceiling and wall angles, a floor stand I think is the best and a DIY approach gives you a lot of flexibility.

I know people have had success with a heavy-duty tripod, like those used for speakers or photography lights, coz they are very stable and reach considerable heights. You can then mount a flat platform on top of it to hold your projector. Another option is a custom-built cabinet or column that you can place in the room, which not only provides a stable base but can also serve as a place to hide cables and other equipment. What you just really need to focus on is the stand is stable and can be adjusted.

I had a similar issue in a loft with high ceilings, I ended up building a simple portable frame from EMT conduit and heavy duty bases that were cheap, sturdy, and let me keep my existing screen without drilling into tricky walls
