Gaming lag on 4K projector

I play games on a big screen and just got a 4K projector. The picture looks amazing, but I’m seeing a bit of delay when I press buttons. Is anyone else using a 4K projector for console or PC gaming? What should I look for to make the gameplay feel smooth? appreciate any inputs!

@juggernauts-04 If your console/PC can output it, try switching your projector's resolution to 1080p at 120Hz instead of 4K at 60Hz. Most 4K projectors process 1080p much faster, and the higher refresh rate will make the gameplay feel much smoother, even on a big screen

I think Benq projector is the best option for gaming. I use BenQ TK700STI, it's really awesome, no lag
