Anyone here using an epson powerlite home cinema 8350? We just converted our attic to use it as our mini home theater and we're considering this model. Our biggest hurdle is that the wall we're projecting onto has a pretty significant tilt, maybe about a 25-degree angle. We're also looking at a throw distance of roughly 12 feet. Particularly, I'm interested to know how easy or difficult is it to adjust and scale the projector image to compensate for that tilt and space? I'm also interested to get any feedback on its general ease of use, sharpness and resolution, and any other detail we should consider for an attic setup like ours. Thanks!

What kind of image correction or keystone adjustments have you tried so far to deal with that angled wall?

It's a very good projector, but the biggest issue you'll have is that it doesn't have lens tilt correction, so you'll need to make sure you get the angle right when you mount it. If you can get that setup as you want to, you'll be very happy with it.

12 feet throw distance is totally fine for the 8350. It's a pretty flexible projector on throw distance, so you'll be able to get a good size image from there without an issue once the tilt is handled

My friend has a similar setup and she has an 8350!
It has the lens shift feature which is a huge advantage for your tilted wall and even @Respawningthroughlife's concern.
With the lens shift, you can align the image properly on your wall without losing the sharpness which happens with a basic keystone correction.
So yeah, I think it's a great projector for a dedicated dark room like your attic!
Just also be mindful of heat and ventilation, as attics can get hot, and make sure the projector has enough clear space to breathe!

The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350 has pretty good keystone correction, which can sort of fix that 25-degree tilt. Still, you might need to tweak it a bit more to get it just right. It gives you 1080p resolution and the colors look great, so it's a solid choice for your home theater. Just keep in mind how much light you have in your attic, since this thing works best when it's dark.
