best way to mount a big grommet projector screen

Picked up a 150" projector screen with grommets and need to hang it without sag. A PVC frame isn't an option for me. My first thought was sticking four adhesive wall hooks (rated 20lb each) at the corners, then tying the screen up with rope. But.... once you start cranking tension, those hooks aren't going to hold. Last thing I want is the screen ripping down after a week. Anybody got a solid setup for this? Do you just drill in anchors and use eye bolts, or is there another clean way to stretch it tight without building a full frame?

For a simple and strong setup, try wall anchors and eye bolts. Just drill in a few anchors, add eye bolts, and then use cords to hold the screen tight using the grommets. Easy to adjust, and it stays put.

This approach gives you a strong hold and makes it simple to attach the screen's grommets. Don't forget to use a level to make sure the screen is straight, and be sure to apply even tension to prevent any sagging.

I've seen people use heavy-duty curtain tracks. Mount the track along the ceiling or wall, clip the grommets to carabiners, then pull tension with bungee cords on the bottom. Looks cleaner than ropes everywhere and it holds steady.
