Sound advice needed

Just got my projector set up and I’ve been using the built-in speakers but they feel kinda meh during movies. Do you stick with them or go for soundbars or more speakers? Totally clueless here, so any tips welcome!

Built‑in projector speakers are famous for being well... polite at best. Most people upgrade to a soundbar, since it’s the easiest plug‑and‑play boost in clarity and volume. Even an entry‑level one is a huge step up.

 

[SOLEIL]

If you want simple, go soundbar. If you want immersive, a 2.1 or 3.1 speaker setup is good for home theaters. Projectors just don’t have the space for decent drivers, so external audio is almost always worth it.
